From the Red Brigades to One Billion Rising to Holla Back! and the Everyday Sexism Project: groups that stand up for women's rights are popping up everywhere. In rural Kenya, urban Egypt and across Afghanistan, Yemen, Pakistan, South Africa and elsewhere, women are banding together to fight inequality, sexual harassment and violence. They do so by using vigilantism, digital technology and even founding women's only villages.

This reporting project endeavours to find out how these groups work and how effective they are at improving the lives of women. How are they impacting local communities, families, children, and other women around the world? What impact do they have on shaping policy? These questions are the core of Enough! Women Fighting Violence Against Women Together in Unique Ways.
