Vanessa de Sá

I’ve been working as an editor, TV director and creative journalism project manager for more than 14 years in Brazilian media outlets such as educational TV network Canal Futura, sports network Bandsports, and Motor Presse Brasil, a German media subsidiary in Brazil. Among other projects, I’ve been creative director of the International Year of Oceans, a 24 hour broadcast on the subject and senior producer/director of a TV mini series aired during the Soccer World Cup, in Germany, in 2006.

I’ve started working as an independent journalist last year. By the end of 2017, a project to which I’ve been committed for the past five months about the issue of indigenous land demarcation in the city of São Paulo has been selected and sponsored by Brazilian Fund for Human Rights/Ford Foundation.

I often work as a freelancer for publications such as Saúde magazine, Scientific American Brazil magazine, among others.
