Rossalyn Warren is an award-winning multimedia journalist who reports on world news, internet culture, and women's rights.
She's currently a freelance reporter working with the Fuller Project for International Reporting after being awarded a grant by the European Journalism Centre to report from Mexico, El Salvador, Burundi, Tanzania, and Pakistan. From 2014 to 2016, she was a senior news reporter for BuzzFeed News in London where she reported from across Europe on the refugee crisis and terror attacks.
She was named news reporter of the year at the 2016 Words By Women Awards, and was shortlisted for new journalist of the year at the 2015 British Journalism Awards for her reporting on the refugee crisis. She was also shortlisted for the Gaby Rado Award for best new journalist by Amnesty International for her reporting on human rights in 2016.
This project explores how women in remote corners of the world are pushing forward a global call for gender equality.
