Marine Gauthier

Marine is an expert in geopolitics, freelancer and journalist based in Paris. After getting her master at Ecole Normale Supérieure, she has been collaborating with UN agencies, International NGOs, and local civil society organizations for 8 years travelling to more than 50 countries – but never forgetting to go back home for a good glass of wine every now and then.

Passionate about wilderness, naturally curious about cultural differences, she has extensive field experience in Asia, Central Africa and South America reporting on environmental and human rights issues. She focuses most of her work on minorities and land rights. Her research, analysis and ground work on participatory governance, civil society, climate negotiations, indigenous peoples, minorities and land rights have led to several publications in France, Norway, the UK and Italy.
