Jennifer Collins is a freelance journalist from Dublin, Ireland, based in Berlin, Germany. She works with Associated Reporters Abroad (ARA), a global network of journalists dedicated to enhancing foreign news coverage. She is an online editor at Deutsche Welle and has written for USA Today, The Washington Times, Irish Daily Mail, Religion News Service, Occupy, NPR Berlin and German tech news website Netzpiloten. She is also co-founder of Mädels with a Microphone, a podcast about Berlin with over 10,000 followers on SoundCloud.Previously, she worked as a reporter and arts and culture editor at Village Magazine, an Irish current affairs monthly.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor in Journalism and German from Dublin Institute of Technology and a Masters in Political Science (specialising in International Relations and European Integration) from the University of Potsdam. She also spent a semester studying at the University of Leipzig.
