Freelance journalist and graduate sociology researcher (Humboldt University, Berlin). Originally from Lahore, Pakistan, I have lived, studied and worked in numerous countries. My research focuses on migration and identity. I report on, and write about, the intersection of culture and politics. Feature stories, high-profile interviews and book reviews, featured in notable international publications, including Al Jazeera and Guernica Magazine.
