Alberto Rojas is a a photojournalist / multimedia journalist currently living in Madrid and working for El Mundo and Jot Down Magazine. With his pictures he tries to reflect the suffering of the human condition and victims' lives after war, genocide dictatorship, famine or natural disasters. He usually works with NGOs like MSF or Save the Children in Congo, Niger, Somalia, South Sudan, Central African Republic and more. He believes in small stories rather than big occurrences.
This project explores sides of the conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo that are often ignored in the media. Through data journalism methods, the project shows how the war is big business.
