Call for applications Round 9

The ninth call for applications ran between 10 November 2016 and 15 February 2017 and 128 entries were submitted.We are currently running the tenth call for applications. The deadline closed on 6 September 2017 (22:00 CET).

Finalists Round 9

We  shortlisted the Round 9 applicants in May 2017. The shortlisted candidates had then a month’s time to submit a full application package: a detailed story proposal, a detailed project budget and signed letters of intent. The winners were announced in May 2017.

Awards Round 9

The winners of Round 9 were announced May 2017. The winning journalists will start their projects in June 2017 after they have attended the boot camp training and signed the grant agreements.

Bootcamp Round 9

The winners of Round 9 took part in a two-day boot camp style training. The event, held in June 2017 in Hamburg, focused on impact, dissemination and publication strategies on how to achieve real world public impacts.
